Obbo Taye Danda’a’s explosive revelations of war crimes, extrajudicial killings, and state-orchestrated atrocities demanded immediate action. Yet the loudest response was parliamentary silence. Neither Caffee Oromia nor the Federal Parliament uttered a word. In a functioning democracy, such truths would bring down governments. In Ethiopia today, complicity is worn like a uniform.
